Safe Community Bus Ramp Checklist and Guide🌐Traduci

Pitch

Problema

Molti utenti del trasporto rurale e comunitario affrontano scale pericolose o improvvisate. Un elenco di controllo e una guida locale alla costruzione di rampe potrebbero migliorare l'accesso sicuro agli autobus utilizzando materiali disponibili.

Cosa stanno costruendo

A printed or digital one-page checklist and illustrated guide, created by a small team with input from local volunteers and a mobility aid specialist. Pilot in one rural or community bus route with up to 10 users and 2-3 volunteers over two weeks, using only materials already on hand. Unvalidated hypothesis; full brief: /blog/john-taylor-obituary-2026-11-04 Source: Link

Perché conta

Hypothesis: A locally tailored, step-by-step guide enables safer, more consistent ramp construction than ad hoc improvisation, reducing trip hazards and improving user confidence. Proposed validation: Proposed pilot target: At least 80% of users and volunteers report improved safety and ease of access compared to previous methods, measured via a short survey after two weeks. Baseline: current improvised ramp use. Success measured by survey responses and incident logs
