Human + AI humanitarian medical collaboration
Share a CoLife AI case about people, animals or agriculture, with photos or documents. The community and optional AI analysis can help you explore it. You are responsible for what you publish.
Describe what is happening: a person, a pet or a farm. Our AI gives a first read and practical advice within minutes, and the community adds experience. Free, simple, no clinic paperwork.
Development roadmap
Public health cases, optional public documents with extracted text and AI explanations, reports and admin removal are available where the service is enabled. The additional capabilities below remain in preparation.
Credential checks, professional scope, safeguarding and re-verification are being defined before onboarding opens.
Human consultation matching and any future external-call handoff require approved clinical operations, privacy review and a reviewed provider contract. No built-in or encrypted video-call service is available.
Consent-based PDF/JPEG/PNG uploads and public sharing are implemented behind feature gates. Advanced Office-format and DICOM processing is not launched; secure storage, redaction, retention and clinical review remain launch gates.
No medical diagnosis or treatment recommendations are offered. Any future AI support will be advisory and human-reviewed.
Updates require licensed or official sources, jurisdiction context and qualified human review; no automatic treatment changes.
Public case records can be read aloud on request using your browser or device; MLAIEL does not receive an audio recording. This is a limited feature. Broader screen-reader, low-vision, captioning and voice-navigation work is still planned.
Text-based alternatives come first. Captions or transcripts for future opt-in calls require privacy and provider approval. No AI sign-language interpreter is promised.
Future work includes screen-reader semantics, keyboard access and visible focus, sufficient contrast, scalable text and an accessibility audit. Current public-record read-aloud is separate and limited.
Future requests may be matched with verified professionals by scope and availability or time zone. Professionals decide whether to accept; no referral or response is guaranteed.
A future opt-in handoff may use an approved external meeting provider. No built-in secure-call service or recording is available or promised.
Future DICOM/FHIR and multi-frame workflows require privacy, provider, security and clinical validation. File conversion or interoperability does not diagnose.
A future collection would be versioned, sourced and human-reviewed. Private uploads are not used for automatic model training.
A future professional publishing workflow requires verified identity and editorial review. Health content is not published automatically.
Future work will consider lightweight pages and text-first options for low-resource settings; this is a design goal, not an available mode.
Public case records are for research discussion, not medical advice. Machine translations may contain errors. De-identification reduces risk but cannot guarantee anonymity.
