12万8千年前のチベットの氷床コアデータを分析するための、コミュニティがアクセス可能なサイエンスキットを作成するプロジェクトで、気候教育と地域研究を支援します。

何をつくっているか

A digital kit (PDF guide, CSV data, and spreadsheet templates) distributed to one secondary school science class and one community club, with a teacher or facilitator overseeing a 4-week project. No physical samples; only open-access or permitted data used. Unvalidated hypothesis; full brief: /blog/128-000-year-old-ice-in-tibet-could-rewrite-clim-2026-11-01 Source: リンク

対象者

Secondary school teachers, students, local science clubs, and community educators interested in climate history and glacier research.

なぜ重要か

Test if a locally contextualized kit using the Tibetan ice core data increases understanding of glacial history and climate change more than generic climate kits, as measured by pre/post surveys. Proposed validation: Proposed pilot target: 20 participants (students/community members), baseline: generic climate kit, target: 30% increase in correct answers on climate/glacier history quiz after 4 weeks, measured by pre/post survey.
