何をつくっているか

Produce a one-page checklist template (in English and a locally relevant language) with fields for outage type, date, time, duration, location, and impact. Pilot with 10 households in one neighborhood for four weeks, coordinated by a local community leader who submits the forms to the municipal office. 対象者

Residents in affected South African municipalities experiencing water and electricity shortages, as well as local community leaders and municipal service offices.

なぜ重要か

Hypothesis: A standardized, paper-based checklist increases the accuracy and frequency of outage reports compared to ad hoc or digital-only methods, especially in low-connectivity areas. Proposed validation: Proposed pilot target: At least 80% of participating households submit completed checklists each week for 4 weeks. Baseline: number of outage reports received by the municipality before the pilot. Success measured by increased reporting rate and completeness of data.
