Staff ran it and it worked. You still need your own provider accounts where listed.

🔌 Integrate🧾 View source🔔 Sign in to get updates

You get an in-app notification when a new version is published. Nothing is installed or updated on your computer automatically.

What it does

Paste notes, and optionally a source excerpt. You can also upload audio or video; that file is transcribed and added to the notes. The tool proposes corrections you can accept. A finding is labeled compared only when it quotes an excerpt you pasted and that quote is in the excerpt. Every other finding is labeled to check. The tool does not fetch the web, and it does not stamp a claim as verified.

🧪 Try it on MLAIEL

Choose the model before you run. “MLAIEL key (OpenAI)” uses the platform key. Your own OpenAI key, Leonardo and Luma are yours: paste them for this request only. MLAIEL does not save them. Pollinations, when it is offered, is free and needs no key. Inputs and results are checked, nothing you send is stored, and you get 8 tries per day across all tools.

Who it's for

A learner or a teacher checking written notes, or a short recording, before trusting them.

What it can do

  • Text, or text plus an audio or video upload
  • Transcription of the upload
  • Suggestions, not verdicts
  • Compared only against an excerpt you paste

What you need

  • Needs your own OpenAI account

Put your key in a setting named OPENAI_API_KEY on your own computer. Never share it. Where to get a key

MLAIEL does not run these tools for you and never asks for your provider keys. You run them on your own computer or server, with your own accounts.

How to use it

Install

  1. Install Node.js 22.18 or newer.
  2. Download the 1.0.0 package and unzip it, then open the learning-checker folder.
  3. Run: npm install && npm test (offline tests, no key needed).
  4. Copy .env.example to .env and add your own OpenAI key. Never commit .env.

Use

  1. node --env-file=.env examples/cli.ts "The starter is flour and water. It is also only sugar."
  2. Or use Try it. Paste a source excerpt if you want a finding compared with it.

⬇️ Download the application

If you are not a developer, download this application. It contains only this product, and it opens on a dashboard of its tasks.

Three steps

  1. Download this application and open the file.
  2. Paste your key once in the application. It stays on this computer.
  3. On the dashboard, pick a task, add your text or a file, and press the button.

The application opens on a dashboard for this product: home, its tasks, your key, and help.

Your key stays on your computer. It is never sent to MLAIEL.

MLAIEL does not run this tool for you. The only exception is Try it on this website, when you are signed in.

The double-click application is for Windows for now.

On a Mac or Linux, use Try it on this page. There is no Mac or Linux application yet.

Windows may show a blue or yellow window that says the publisher is unknown, or that it protected your PC. That appears because this file does not yet have a paid publisher certificate. The file from the button below is the one published on mlaiel.com.
