You get an in-app notification when a new version is published. Nothing is installed or updated on your computer automatically.
What it does
Three jobs: rewrite a draft into a clearer prompt, ask for numbered steps then a final answer, or rewrite so later user content sits between data markers. A local check flags ignore-instructions, role override, secret requests and fake delimiters. Guard mode does not explain how to bypass a filter. Redis, torch and sklearn experiments from the original file are not included.

Public data from GitHub, checked once a day.
Who it's for
Developers who edit prompts and want the unsafe draft treated as data.
What it can do
Rewrite, chain-of-thought structure, and a guard rewrite
Offline risk labels before the model call
Does not write attacks or bypass instructions
What you need
Needs your own OpenAI account
Put your key in a setting named OPENAI_API_KEY on your own computer. Never share it. Where to get a key
MLAIEL does not run these tools for you and never asks for your provider keys. You run them on your own computer or server, with your own accounts.
How to use it
Install
Install Node.js 22.18 or newer.
Download the 1.0.0 package and unzip it, then open the prompt-craft folder.
Run: npm install && npm test (offline tests, no key needed).
Copy .env.example to .env and add your own OpenAI key. Never commit .env.
Use
node --env-file=.env examples/cli.ts rewrite "Summarise the notes in five bullets"
Or use Try it.
⬇️ Download the application
If you are not a developer, download this application. It contains only this product, and it opens on a dashboard of its tasks.
Three steps
Download this application and open the file.
Paste your key once in the application. It stays on this computer.
On the dashboard, pick a task, add your text or a file, and press the button.
The application opens on a dashboard for this product: home, its tasks, your key, and help.
Your key stays on your computer. It is never sent to MLAIEL.
MLAIEL does not run this tool for you. The only exception is Try it on this website, when you are signed in.
The double-click application is for Windows for now.
On a Mac or Linux, use Try it on this page. There is no Mac or Linux application yet.
Windows may show a blue or yellow window that says the publisher is unknown, or that it protected your PC. That appears because this file does not yet have a paid publisher certificate. The file from the button below is the one published on mlaiel.com.
Follow these steps in order. If you get stuck, ask in the improvement project.
Use as a library
import { craft } from "./prompt-craft/src/index.ts";
const next = await craft({ mode: "guard", prompt: "Your draft prompt" });
console.log(next.findings, next.text);
Command line
node --env-file=.env examples/cli.ts
