Ready to UseVersion 1.0.0·Published by @Mlaiel·5 followers
Staff ran it and it worked. You still need your own provider accounts where listed.
You get an in-app notification when a new version is published. Nothing is installed or updated on your computer automatically.
What it does
A standalone video workspace that turns a topic into a short narrated storyboard video. It writes a script of 2 to 6 scenes, draws one illustrated frame per scene with the Image Studio and records the narration with the Audio Studio, in any of 18 languages. The result plays as a slideshow with voice, can be saved as files, and the README shows how to turn it into an MP4 with ffmpeg. It is a storyboard (still frames with narration), not generated motion video.

How it was tested
Run test · Passed
Windows 11, Node.js 22.18, package 1.0.0 run from source with a real OpenAI key, 2026-10-01 · Oct 1, 2026
Built a three-scene storyboard video (images, narration, HTML player and manifest) with a real OpenAI key and played it end to end.
- npm test passes (package unit tests); unzipped 1.0.0 package installs and passes its tests standalone
- 3 scenes generated: one JPEG and one MP3 narration per scene
- manifest.json and self-contained index.html player written
- Honest limit documented: a narrated storyboard, not an encoded MP4
Code check · Partly passed
Windows 11 · CPython 3.12.7 · fresh virtual environment with httpx only · all provider keys removed · Oct 1, 2026
Imports only with the whole iacherie project on the Python path; it logs missing libraries. No video was generated.
- Import inside full tree: succeeded with warnings
- Standalone import: not possible
- Generation: not attempted
Versions and changes
0.1.0 → 1.0.0
Oct 1, 2026 · source revision mlaiel packages/marketplace/video-studio@1.0.0
1.0.0 is the first standalone version: it no longer needs the full iacherie project. Topic → script → frames → narration, assembled into a player. Runway, Pika and Stability video were not ported, so the output is a narrated storyboard rather than motion video. Validated with the real OpenAI API.
- First standalone version: no longer needs the full iacherie repository.
- Topic ? JSON storyboard (gpt-4o-mini) ? one frame per scene (Image Studio) + narration (Audio Studio).
- Self-contained HTML player and saveVideo() export; README shows how to make an MP4 with ffmpeg.
- Runway, Pika and Stability video paths of the original not ported: output is a narrated storyboard, not motion video.
